GSGS is seeking a Human Resources Manager.
Key Role:
– Provide day-to-day HR guidance in the areas of policy interpretation and implementation, staffing and recruitment, compensation and total rewards, employee relations, affirmative action/EEO, organizational structure, workforce development, performance management and training to achieve the best possible business solution.
– Provide direction and guidance in HR regulatory matters related to day-to-day management of employees, minimizing organization risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintains a working knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws for assigned area.
– Promotes positive employee management practices.
– Provides guidance to line management regarding coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.
– Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations related to employee relations issues, employee/management concerns or outside agency requests.
– Develops or implements HR programs and solutions and acts as the program manager to coordinate and deliver results.
– Topic areas may include Affirmative Action, training, performance improvement, health and wellness activities, etc.
– Coordinates performance management.
